The release contains the following main features:

SCOPIA Video Gateway for Microsoft Lync

  • Official Microsoft qualification – SCOPIA Video Gateway for Microsoft Lync is the first and only gateway that is officially qualified by Microsoft to be deployed in Microsoft OCS-R2 and Lync deployments.
  • H.239 Data sharing When content is sent from an H.323 device to the gateway, the latter will send the content on the main video channel instead of the actual video.
  • 3rd party deployment support - Real-time presence information in 3rd party deployments, specifically in Cisco deployments using Cisco VCS. This will allow deploying the gateway in Cisco deployments and still enjoy all the gateway benefits and great functionalities.
  • End to end encryption the gateway now supports H.235 encryption on the H.323 side of the call. This is in addition to the encryption on the Lync side.

SCOPIA Elite MCU

  • SCOPIA Elite 5105 has been added to the Elite product line. This is an entry level product targeted for SMBs.
  • Customers can now customize the auto attendant logo. The logo can be the same for all MCU services or unique per service. Please refer to the SCOPIA Elite Administrator Guide for technical details regarding the image size, format and other characteristics.
  • You can now start recording of the meeting using the endpoint remote control.

  • Supporting URI Dialing Call Back External users who received URI calls from an organization via the Pathfinder can easily dial back by just clicking the call button.
  • Improved debugging and field analyses capabilities for improved support process and shorter resolution period - The new capabilities will allow RADVISION support team to collect all the required information for quick resolution and prompt support.
  • Scalability improvements PathFinder v7.7 was tested and verified to work with an external Load Balancer providing unlimited scalability and uncompromised redundancy for large deployments.

SCOPIA Desktop
